Someone’s slipped. What now?
A slip, a near-miss or a claim is the moment a floor stops being a hypothetical. A test helps you respond — and protect yourself.
- The first question anyone asks — insurer, solicitor, the HSE — is whether the floor was safe. A pendulum test answers it with a measured number, not an opinion.
- If a claim is already in, a dated, UKAS-accredited PTV report is strong, independent evidence of the floor’s actual slip resistance in the condition it’s used.
- We can test the specific area involved quickly, and turn the report around in days.
- If it falls short, we tell you the realistic fix and re-test — showing you acted on it.
Evidence beats assertion
A measured, accredited report is far harder to challenge than ‘we mop regularly’. It’s the difference between defending a claim with proof and defending it with a hope.
